The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 was released in India on Tuesday as part of the OnePlus Cloud 11 launch event. With the charging case, these true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are touted to have a total battery life of up to 39 hours. They have MelodyBoost dual drivers developed in collaboration with Dynaudio – each earbud has 11mm + 6mm dynamic drivers. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 include a standard Dynaudio equaliser (EQ) setting as well as three unique EQ profiles: Bold, Serenade, and Bass. In conjunction with Google, OnePlus has also integrated a Spatial Audio function. It also comes with a special EQ profile tuned by renowned music composer Hans Zimmer. OnePlus also unveiled a customised India model of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2 price in India

In India, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are priced at Rs. 11,999. These OnePlus earphones are available in Arbor Green and Obsidian Black. Pre-orders begin today, with the official sale beginning on February 14. The earbuds will be available for purchase on the OnePlus India official website, Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra, the OnePlus Store app, and other select partners.

There’s also an earphones variant for India called the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R, which costs Rs. 9,999. In March, this variation will be available for purchase.

Specifications and features of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2

The TWS earbuds from OnePlus include 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters. According to the manufacturer, the inbuilt adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) technology can block up to 48dB of external noise. There is also a Transparency mode, which allows users to hear ambient sound. Each earbud is touted to have a 9-hour battery life. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has a total battery life of up to 25 hours with ANC turned on and up to 39 hours with ANC turned off, according to OnePlus.

They enable Bluetooth 5.3 wireless communication and the LHDC 4.0 audio codec. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 allow dual connections and Google’s Fast Pair function. They are supposed to have a wireless range of up to 10 metres with a connection latency of 54 milliseconds.

The earphones have touch controls as well as three microphones. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are dust and water resistant, with an IP55 rating. Their frequency response ranges from 10Hz to 40,000Hz. These TWS earphones have built-in IMU sensors that generate activity level and posture reminders.
